Welcome all Tour Guides and Tour Directors!  This tour is designed especially for you.  It’s a virtual destination training tour covering the logistics & commentary basics of leading groups through the George Washington’s Mount Vernon plantation.  We’ve designed the content to be accessible onsite or off.  It’s intended for those of you who are visiting Mount Vernon for the first time, as well as those who have experience and are looking to expand your knowledge of the site. 
 
The route begins with the recommended arrival path along the George Washington Memorial Parkway.  We walk you through the entire process of leading a group experience…from arrival at the entrance, to exiting & reboarding the coach.   Our mapped path covers all of the locations that tour operators expect you to be bringing guests to, as well as recommendations for extended exploration.  The Orientation Center, the Mansion & the Education Center are also explained and supported.  The audio tour menu includes sections dedicated to Logistics Overviews and Commentary Details, as well as location-specific support for each of the spots along the route that you’d encounter.
